Dermot Conway is a practising solicitor and Notary Public who has provided notarial services to clients throughout Cork for many years. His practice combines the rigour of a legal background with the precise, formal handling that internationally-recognised documents demand.
As a Notary Public, Dermot is authorised to authenticate and certify documents, administer oaths, witness signatures and prepare documentation for use in foreign jurisdictions. Whether you are an individual dealing with property or family matters abroad, or a business managing international agreements, your documents are handled with care and discretion.
The aim is simple: documents prepared correctly the first time, and accepted wherever they need to go.
A Notary Public is a qualified lawyer appointed to serve the public in non-contentious matters, usually concerned with documents intended for use abroad. The notary verifies the identity of the signatory, witnesses the signing, and applies an official signature and seal that gives the document international standing.
Many foreign authorities, courts, banks and universities will only accept documents that have been notarised. Depending on the destination country, a notarised document may also require an apostille or consular legalisation — we can guide you through that process.
